About development status

The modules below are prototypes designed, manufactured and tested in a laboratory environment as part of R&D work. They have not entered series production. The technical data reflects design targets and prototype measurements.

EKASS.AI — AI-Assisted Pedal Assist System

2024–2025 Prototype

A control system for electric bicycles that measures the rider's pedal effort in real time and adjusts motor assistance accordingly. It fuses torque, cadence, crank-angle and IMU data in a 100 Hz control loop and responds to crank-phase changes in under 5 ms. The Cruise, Climb, Glide and Stop-Start riding modes are designed to hold rider effort at roughly 50 W. I handled both the hardware and the embedded software side.

2024 Prototype Power Electronics

Power-train monitoring module with current and voltage measurement, MOSFET driver stages and hardware-level protection. Measurement data is reported to the main controller over CAN.

BMS-01 — Battery Management System

2024 Prototype Battery Systems

Battery management board with cell monitoring, passive balancing and protection layers. Overcharge, temperature and short-circuit protection are handled at hardware level.

NAU-01 — Navigation & Attitude Unit

2024 Prototype Sensor Systems

Sensor-fusion board combining accelerometer, gyroscope and magnetometer data for orientation and motion analysis. Designed with an isolated reference plane and EMI-shielded I²C/SPI routing.

DCU-01 — Data & Communication Unit

2024 Prototype Communication Systems

Central communication board managing data traffic between sub-modules. Includes isolated data paths, ESD-filtered connectors and CRC-based data validation.

High-Speed Processing Board — BCM2712 + DDR4

2023–2024 Prototype High-Speed PCB

Multi-layer processing board based on the Broadcom BCM2712 SoC and DDR4 memory, designed for high-bandwidth applications. Impedance and length matching on the DDR topology, a layered power-distribution network and signal-integrity verification were the design priorities.

HMI-01 — Human Machine Interface

2024 Prototype User Interface

LCD-based interface board that displays system status and handles user input. Uses a solid reference plane for the capacitive buttons and a separate supply rail for the backlight.

Medical Device Control Boards

2018–2022 Prototype Embedded Systems

Control and driver boards developed for laboratory instruments: analog front-end conditioning of low-level optical sensor signals, high-resolution ADC acquisition, motor and pump drive. Analog and digital sections were separated across a multi-layer stack-up for measurement stability and EMI immunity; isolation distances were planned with IEC 60601-1 in mind.
